Resetting the LimitedTime quests to be once per account has caused major issues. At first when I logged in I was pleasantly surprised to see the LTQ was once per char. I thought "ooooh finally a smart decision, more people will play more in order to farm SG so maybe we won't be down to half a block on Ship 2 anymore".

go to the quest counter and you'll see a bunch of extreme quests listed in the appropriate section. the easiest ones require you to be level 50 (from memory, this ONLY checks your main class and not your sub), and is easy to solo.

The drops seem to be the same between both versions, so it's a personal preference. 4player is easier to beat since dying doesn't fail it automatically and the order on stage 2 is easier (don't heal for 30 seconds, while the solo version is don't take damage). PSO2 is action style, with focus on dodging/iframing/blocking enemy attacks, with cool counters, or charged abilities, stuff like that. There's a ton of 3dimensional movement, and it generally looks cooler. NGS gives you all your main attacks at the start, usually a basic attack, a weapon action, and 4 photon arts.

There are tons of ways to make mesetas. Extreme Quest is one of them if you don't want to burn your excubes. It's recommended to clear at least until stage 65 for every basic Extreme quest so you can replay any stages you want. Some stages offer more mesetas than the other. Grind isn't that bad. I'm completely free, started playing in September and have a max level Force with a Profound Rod that dropped from Persona. I am just missing the 150 Void Fragments to upgrade it. Its better than most JRPGs cause there are events that will give you a leg up fairly frequently. Manic_Suppression.

Extreme Quests: 6/14 (most of these titles are hidden by default) This is an excube/casino coin/other method of getting extreme pass drain. For pure allatk, you'd run a mixed set of Klauz back with Atlas arms and legs, since Atlas units are 90 allatk. Cras/Klauz Legs over Atlas gives you +19PP in exchange for 10 Attack. People used to consider 10 attack worth 1PP, there is basically no world in which you choose Atlas legs over Cras legs.

The 4th recommended quest has a 200% XP boost and is your best way to grind xp outside of keys. It rotates daily between 5 different quests. A Broken World of Twisted Shadows, The Menacing Castle, and Disturbing Whistle of Chaos (Piper) are all excellent for grinding, the other two not so much.
