When coolant levels are low, we fill a bucket of straight coolant concentrate and brush it into the machine where grime has built up, let it sit for a few minutes, then flush with coolant from the sump. After we're done, we fill the sump to the proper level with a 1% mix. The best solvent for coolant is coolant concentrate!
